Louise Beck is the Founder and Artistic Director of OPE-N.
Louise has a background in set design, costume and lighting design and has worked on both classical and new pieces at The Royal Opera, The Danish National Opera, The Danish National Theatre, Melbourne Town Hall, Gothenburg Opera and most fringe theatres in Denmark. During her career, Louise has expanded her professional field and moved into visual staging of her own and others' projects. Beside this, Louise has been a project manager at Nordic Minister of Culture and Head of the Scenography department at both The Danish National Theatre School in Copenhagen and Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Between 2013 and 2016, Louise held the position as Head of the Grant Committee of Performing Arts at the Danish Art Foundation. Since 2018, Louise Beck has held a position as a guest professor at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch.
